Style
Our photography shows real Bluebird people and places, never stock: professional photos of the team, of our clients, and of the offices and working environments where the work happens. Everything is graded the same way, so it sits naturally beside both blue and orange.
Our team
Professional portraits and group shots of the Bluebird team: head and shoulders, with the eyes on the upper third of the frame.
Clients
Photos with clients, where they agree to it: real conversations and moments from the work, never staged.
At work
Office and working environments: calm, lived-in spaces, with the person within the room and space to breathe.
One grade
Slightly warm, soft highlights, lifted blacks, and light grain, applied before upload so every photo sits beside both blue and orange.
No repeats
No portrait appears more than once per page. When there is no strong photo, use large type with a gradient or a wing instead.
Trust
Relaxed eye contact and open posture. People who look like they have done the job themselves.
Warmth
Genuine smiles and ease between people. Never forced laughter or exaggerated gestures.
Quiet confidence
Assured expertise without posing. Ambitious, but patient, and never in a hurry.
Natural light
Daylight over flash. Warm, soft and a little imperfect, the way a good office actually looks.
Candid, not staged
Conversations, thinking and small moments of the work, instead of posed handshakes and stock gestures.
Room to breathe
Calm compositions with space around the subject, so a headline or gradient has somewhere to sit.
People
Show the people behind the work. Head and shoulders for portrait cards, with room to breathe for team, client, and workplace shots, and the subject off-center, opposite the headline.

Portraits
4:5, head and shoulders, with the eyes on the upper third of the frame.
In context
3:2, with the person inside the workspace and room to breathe around them.
One person, once
Do not repeat the same portrait more than once on a page.
Off-center
Place the subject opposite the headline so text and face never compete.
Work setting
Show the place where the work is being done. Warm but corporate settings where people are actually at work. This creates a level of authority to balance the approachable portraits.

Images in combination with text
Subtle dark gradients are used to combine text with imagery. This ensures that text will always stay readable. Multiple gradients can be used to highlight different parts.
